Let me start from the beginning and explain why I created this Website.
A Few Months ago, one of my acquaintances asked me to look for a Work from Home position. I informed him that while I was unfamiliar with such professions, I would explore and get back to him.
I’ve heard of a few platforms for freelancing and remote data entry jobs. This piqued my interest, so I began doing some research using a variety of job websites, YouTube channels, newspapers, and acquaintances.
A few of my friends suggested Network marketing or Multi Level Marketing. However, in my opinion, very few people today still adhere to the Multi Level Marketing/Network Marketing approach. Due to the fact that many aspects of Multi Level Marketing and Network Marketing are false, this option was abandoned.
I spent a lot of time conducting a thorough analysis of each of these platforms. I contacted the HR or contact numbers listed for these jobs, emailed them, visited their websites and social media pages, and checked Trustpilot, Google, and a few other review websites. Investigated whether anyone had experience working with these companies on Reddit and Quora.
The Results of my Research about these Platforms are listed below:
Demand for Registration/Training/Kit Fees: These are typically used for occupations like Handwriting, Data Entry, Captcha Typing, and a few more jobs.
Without Links, Email Addresses, or Contact Numbers: I think these positions are only offered on their platforms to increase traffic and generate income.
To Collect CVs for their Recruitment Agency / Job Websites: The jobs are classified simply to gather the CVs for future use OR to create a database of CVs. From this database web sites can earn revenues.
Post Outdated Jobs: I assume that such job postings are intended to draw visitors to their platforms in order to generate income.
Job Titles and Descriptions are not Properly Stated: The majority of these job postings mention Multi Level Marketing or Networking Jobs.
False Job Postings on Legitimate Job Portals and Social Media: Some con artists pose as employers and offer bogus jobs on well-known and reliable job websites. This occurs as a result of the websites’ and social media platforms’ improper verification.
Malicious ZIP Files: Some Job Websites contain virus-infected zip files provided by the bogus employer for the Job Description and Application Form. They gain access to the victim’s computer and all the data it contains.
Fraudsters Reach Out to Job Seekers: Job seekers are occasionally contacted by fraudsters offering lucrative opportunities under the guise of well-known companies or job websites. Convenience them to pay the application fee / security deposit which is refundable
Fake Job Consultancies, Fake Websites, and Look-Alike Websites: Cheaters build websites using domain names that are confusingly similar to those of reputable companies or government agencies. Request a processing fee or documentation fee that will be returned following the interview.
A Few Job Listings are Legit: Handful of such Job Listings are genuine. Since they are very few in number, it becomes tough to locate them.
Other instances of Phony Work-From-Home Employment Opportunities Include:
Envelope Stuffing: It entails signing up and paying a charge in order to fill envelopes from home. However, the only commission you will ever be eligible to receive is when you convince someone else to pay the non-refundable registration cost.
Reselling Goods: This involves purchasing high-end goods below their retail cost and reselling them at a higher price.
Reshipping Scams: Reshipping Scams involve receiving deliveries at home, removing the distinctive receipts, repackaging the goods, and reshipping them. But you never receive a paycheck from the employer.
Rebate Processor: A Job that guarantees excessive profits for processing rebates from home for a non-refundable training fee, but actually involves placing ads online and getting a small commission every time a product gets sold.
Assembling Crafts/Products: The agency engages you after paying the enrollment fee and purchasing the products’ materials, but later rejects the finished products.
TCS has formulated a sophisticated method of verifying a job offer letter. The offer letter includes a QR code and URL link that lead to the company’s verification page. Or you can verify their offer letter by going to their website. Tech Mahindra employs digital signatures to make it easier for job searchers to discern between real and false offer letters. Some job sites advertise that they guard against job scams using both manual and automated systems. However, in practice, these are ineffective, and similar job sites also post fraudulent jobs. To stop these types of job scams, much work remains. Scammers are also cashing in from India’s employment issues. And there are many job frauds that we are aware of.
In conclusion, there are relatively few reputable companies that provide Genuine Work From Home opportunities to job seekers. And finding such legitimate jobs is rather difficult.
I decided to create a legitimate platform for work-from-home jobs as a result. Initially I created a Quora Space by name Online and Part Time Jobs and a Blogger Website, Work From Home Jobs. Since there was a good response from the job seekers, I made a job portal exclusively for work from home jobs and I’m skilled in web designing.
Prior to posting any position, I personally confirm it through the aforementioned research, as well as by visiting the company website, looking at the company’s comprehensive reviews, and, if necessary, speaking with the HR department. I started contacting some trustworthy companies that offer honest Work From Home Jobs. Receiving positive feedback from a few companies. They promised to routinely post their job vacancies. Every day I update the website with new job postings.
